Together with director Stijn Bouma, Keplerfilm is producing the feature film De Oostvaarders, an intimate portrait of victims of the benefits affair. The film follows a woman duped by the affair and a detective. Stijn Bouma previously made the documentary Alone against the state (NPO). In it he gave the floor to five mothers who fell victim to the benefits scandal. For the first time, victims told their story extensively in front of the camera and explained the impact of the affair on their lives.

Keplerfilm is the production house of Derk-Jan Warrink and Koji Nelissen. After working on award-winning titles like The Lobster and Bullhead, the two friends founded the company in 2016. It has since established itself as a (co)producer of high-quality independent international feature films. Kepler focuses exclusively on feature films that tell compelling, intriguing stories about real people. Last year they released, among other things, the Dutch-Slovenian co-production Pink Moon, a tragicomedy by director Floor van der Meulen, and the Dutch-Swiss co-production Hotel Sinestra, a family film by Michiel ten Hoorn.

Omschrijving
For the production of the new feature film "De Oostvaarders" we are looking for an intern who will join the production team during the pre-production and shooting period. We are looking for a smooth, hands-on and enthusiastic type with ambitions to work within production. Some experience with film and/or the production profession is a requirement. You will gain experience both in preparation and on set and learn the tricks of the trade.

Periode
Half augustus tot eind november. Eventueel in overleg later starten.

Functie eisen / profiel
- Enige ervaring met film en/of het productievak
- Ondersteunen van het productieteam bij het organiseren en regelen van de productie.
- Rijbewijs is een pre, maar geen vereiste.
- Woonachtig in Amsterdam / omgeving
