We are making a short film of about 10 minutes that revolves around a heated argument between an older father and his daughter in her thirties. The film will be black and white, because that reinforces what is being said in the film.

Films that contain similar conflicts/concepts are 'Autumn Sonata' (1978 - Ingmar Bergman) and 'The Father' (2020 - Florian Zeller).

The conflict in the film will be verbal, but there will be tears. The film takes place in the simple set of one living room.
We are always open to improvisation if it strengthens the film!

It will be a fun project in which you as actors can completely let go of emotions because of the intensity of the conflict.

In addition to providing more experience, this project will also be a beautiful, moving film to add to your portfolio or oeuvre.

Description
Due to the intensity of the conflict, we are looking for actors with Dutch as their mother tongue.
We are looking for:
-An actor for the role of Michael, a man with an appearance of 60-90 years old.
Michael is unhappy but proud, and he is now in the later years of his life. In the film he breaks.

-An actress for the role of Laurie, a woman with an appearance of 30-40 years old.
Laurie is a hardworking woman who is satisfied, but not with her youth and her relationship with her father. She will finally fully express/shout out long-suppressed resentment in the film.

There are of course more details and nuances to these characters, but they will be revealed later.
